Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide operational leadership alongside the Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of all Card Center activities, including credit, debit, and corporate card operations.
∎ Manage a diversified team of professionals who are responsible for managing operations of the card & electronic payment business including Debit & Credit card issuance, ATM, POS, QR & E commerce acquiring.
∎ Ensure all revenue and expense transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
∎ Oversee card dispute resolution, support fraud detection activities, and manage charge back processes effectively.
∎ Develop strategic alliances with suppliers, vendors, and key internal stakeholders including Administration, Legal & Compliance, Accounts, and International Banking, promoting efficiency, compliance, and innovation.
∎ Monitor service levels to ensure excellent internal and external customer satisfaction.
∎ Ensure compliance with banking regulations, card network rules (Visa, Master Card, etc.), and internal policies.
∎ Coordinate with vendors, card manufacturers, processors, and IT teams to manage system updates, maintenance, and issue resolution.
∎ Prepare operational reports, performance dashboards, and regulatory submissions related to card operations.
∎ Assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
∎ Support marketing and business teams with card-related product launches and enhancements.
∎ Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in card services and propose relevant improvements.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager – Card Center will assist in overseeing all daily operations related to card issuance, processing, dispute management, and customer service. The role requires ensuring seamless card operations, compliance with regulatory standards, operational efficiency, and a superior customer experience. The Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager will act as a second-in-command, stepping up in the absence of the Manager, and will contribute to strategic improvements and innovation within card services.
