Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor and oversee overall production activities and team performance to achieve targeted production of Medium, Liner & Craft Paper.
∎ Ensure the smooth operation of Medium, Liner & Craft Paper production machines.(e.g., Rewinding machine, Core pipe making machine, Slitter machine, Bell binding machine, Sheet cutter machine, etc.)
∎ Assess order demand in collaboration with the marketing department and formulate a comprehensive production plan.
∎ Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity of the plant.
∎ Work within allocated budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining production quality and efficiency.
∎ Maintain machine and manpower efficiency for optimum utilization of plant production capacity.
∎ Ensure optimum plant utilization and minimum raw materials wastage to increase plant efficiency for profit maximization.
∎ Monitor raw material & chemical inventory, production supplies, equipment’s and to ensure smooth operations as per production demand.
∎ Maintain environmental parameters within prescribed limits, basing decisions on operating conditions and trends.
∎ Monitor quality assurance processes to meet the quality goals by ensuring customer satisfaction.
∎ Collaborate with relevant departments regularly for uninterrupted production, and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
∎ Ensure scheduled & preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and coordinate with maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability.
∎ Maintain communication with cross-functional teams and foreign machine suppliers for critical troubleshooting and procure required spare parts as needed.
∎ Supervise and lead production teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
∎ Prepare daily & monthly production reports, machine downtime & utilization reports, and raw materials & chemicals consumption reports with proper documentation in the register books and submit them to the line manager regularly.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 33 years
∎ Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and wastage reduction.
∎ Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
∎ Practical experience in Microsoft Office and ERP Software.
∎ Interpersonal Skills.
