Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure aesthetic and functional execution of all styles, from concept through delivery.
∎ Closely Follow up on Development Merchant team job responsibility & involve where needed as well as accelerate to the senior team.
∎ Executive efficient development strategy following the client's requirement.
∎ Develop styles within timelines and guidelines set out by customer calendar and merchant product briefs
∎ Create and maintain product development calendar, with agile critical path deviations for maximum responsiveness
∎ Follow up on development WIP closely with the team to resolve all the issues and ensure exception reports to share with the senior management on a timely basis.
∎ Set the price target before price negotiation with the vendor to achieve the goal.
∎ Review the vendor quote for final sign-off & involve in the critical issues to meet the client's expectations.
∎ Ensure seasonal Capacity management across suppliers following the client business focus & the strategy.
∎ Track supplier performance & efficiency as well as guide supplier for continuous improvement.
∎ Should have strong co-operation with internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Source new vendors for expansion product categories
∎ To follow up the company & Buyers indicated SOP, laws & regulation & thereby maintaining disciplines in all stages.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5+ years of Merchandising product development experience in both Knit/ Woven.
∎ In-depth knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fit, fabrication, trim, and embellishment techniques.
∎ Passion for premium, functional products and the desire to forge a path as a market leader in new product concepts.
∎ Exceptional attention to product details.
∎ Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done.
∎ Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think strategically when things don't go as planned.
Salary: Negotiable
