Job Responsibilities:
∎ Set the company's internal audit strategy and develop leading practices, and develop & maintain audit programs and advisory services across the company;
∎ Provide strategic and technical leadership to the internal audit function, and also provide advice on the company's operations control environment and risk management practices to the officials of Internal Audit Department and the Management as well;
∎ Provide advice on proposed developments such as major new systems and proposed initiatives to help ensuring risks are properly identified and evaluated; and appropriate controls are built in;
∎ Develop and update/review Internal Audit Policy Manual, Rules, Regulations and other frameworks for Internal Audit functions;
∎ Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations;
∎ Conduct an evaluation of the effectiveness of the internal control, risk management and governance systems & processes of the company;
∎ Bring a systematic, transparent, scalable, and disciplined approach to evaluating and improving- as appropriate- the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance processes;
∎ Proactively inform senior management of significant risks or exposures related to internal controls, compliance, and/or governance requiring prompt decision;
∎ Issue all Internal Audit reports ensuring the Reports are clear and concise; and identified root causes with practical solutions and ultimately provide value to the Management;
∎ Ensure that all internal audit is performing its work in accordance with established professional standards and remain abreast of emerging trends and best practices that can be incorporated into the functions;
∎ Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings;
∎ Undertake any special investigatory reports as necessary;
∎ Develop the skills and abilities of all team members, with the result that they perform to at their highest potential and optimize their current and future job performance;
∎ To produce an internal audit plan each year detailing areas to be audited and submit the plan.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 10 years of practical experience with a proven track record in related field which includes at least 5 years in manufacturing industries.
∎ Working knowledge in FMCG Industries is preferred but not mandatory.
∎ Age Limit: Below 40 years
∎ Sound knowledge in generally accepted audit standards.
∎ Sound knowledge in Accounting and Finance Principles and Practices.
∎ Working knowledge variety of reporting procedures, regulations and laws.
∎ Planning and time management.
∎ Good command in Bengali and English.
∎ Able to work independently and under pressure.
∎ Strong analytical and communication ability.
∎ Should be self-driven, result oriented, hard working.
∎ Willing to occasional travel across the country.
∎ High level of professional integrity.
