∎ A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting is required, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in the education sector or a large organization is highly advantageous. The candidate must demonstrate strong expertise in financial planning, taxation, treasury management, and compliance. Additionally, outstanding communication, organizational, and managerial skills are essential. A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion is highly valued.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ BRAC University (BRACU) is looking for an exceptionally excellent individual as the Director, Finance. S/he will serve as the administrative leader of the department and will play a pivotal role in advancing the university's mission and vision to fostering academic excellence, societal impact, and human flourishing.
∎ BRACU is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh which has established itself as one of the leading private universities in Bangladesh. We are searching for a dynamic and seasoned leader to make a meaningful impact in the Finance & Accounts of BRAC University.
∎ POSITION PURPOSE
∎ The Director of Finance at BRAC University is a key leadership role entrusted with shaping the university’s financial sustainability through strategic planning, operational oversight, and resource optimization. This role is responsible for ensuring financial planning, regulatory compliance, and efficient resource allocation to support the university’s mission and long-term growth.
∎ Leading Central Accounts, Tax & Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams, the Director will drive financial governance, enhance transparency, and implement best practices in financial management. This position demands a proactive and analytical leader who can balance strategic financial planning with operational excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration across the University.
