∎ At least 5 years for Male candidates and 3 years for Female candidates of legal practice, including District and Sessions Judge Courts.
∎ Must be enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council as an Advocate with practical experience in local courts.
∎ Strong managerial skills and the ability to work independently.
∎ Strong knowledge of criminal and family laws.
∎ Commitment to managing BLAST cases.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse colleagues.
∎ Proficient communication skills, with drafting and report writing capabilities in Bangla and English.
∎ Knowledgeable in computer operations, particularly in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as email communication.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and oversee SHIKHA project activities at the district level.
∎ Supervise and coordinate paralegals’ daily activities.
∎ Liaise and collaborate with the District Legal Aid Offices and other stakeholders.·
∎ Communicate regularly with project stakeholders as required.·
∎ Collect, compile, and prepare monthly reports and data updates for project and legal activities.
∎ Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure smooth information flow.
∎ Ensure sensitivity towards safeguarding, gender, disability, and diversity.
∎ Provide legal aid services, including client interviews, mediation, litigation support, and case management.
∎ Scrutinize cases as per BLAST’s Litigation Policy and conduct mediation according to BLAST’s Mediation Guidelines.       Represent BLAST in court proceedings and coordinate with Panel Lawyers.
∎ Maintain and update case records and the Case Management System (CMS) regularly.
∎ Perform other duties assigned by the authority as needed.
∎ Job Context: BLAST seeks a qualified, experienced District Project Officer (DPO) for the Gazipur District. The District Project Officer (DPO) will be based in the designated project/unit offices and will be responsible for planning, implementing, supervising, and reporting project activities at the district level. The DPO will work closely with legal service teams, paralegals, stakeholders, and district legal aid offices to ensure the effective delivery of project outcomes.
∎ Duties & Responsibilities:
