Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Nari Maitree (NM), a women-led NGO with 42 years of experience in Bangladesh, is implementing the "Together We Lead" project in partnership with UN Women. This project supports positive gender norms among forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals (Rohingya) and host communities in Cox's Bazar, focusing on leadership and agency for women and girls and engagement with men and boys. We invite qualified and committed candidates to join our Cox’s Bazar team and contribute to this important initiative, drawing on Nari Maitree’s extensive experience in development and humanitarian programming.
∎ The EMAP (Engaging Men through Accountable Practice) Supervisor will oversee, mentor, and support Gender Volunteers (EMAP facilitators) across multiple camps and host communities to ensure the quality and effectiveness of EMAP implementation.
∎ Reports to: Program Coordinator
∎ Duty Station: Cox’s Bazar (Ukhiya), with travel to Teknaf and host communities as required.
∎ Supervision and Mentorship of EMAP Facilitators:Provide direct supervision and mentorship to Gender Volunteers facilitating EMAP groups.Conduct regular site visits to observe EMAP sessions and provide constructive feedback.Conduct weekly or bi-weekly coaching sessions with facilitators to address challenges, share best practices, and enhance facilitation skills.Ensure facilitators understand and adhere to the EMAP curriculum, principles, and guidelines.
