Job Context:
∎ ZICOM Equipment Pte Ltd is an Australian Stock Exchange listed company with its Corporate Office in Brisbane, Australia, and its Operations HQ in Singapore. Since 1974, ZEPL has transformed itself from a trading company to a reputable EPC contractor in the Oil, Gas & Energy Industry. We are looking for Engineer / Senior Engineer (Electrical) for our Bangladesh office who has practical experience in the similar area.
∎ Job Location: Based in Dhaka. Can be posted anywhere in Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reviewing customer design or develop design engineering for conformance with applicable codes, utilizing engineering standards along with good engineering practices;
∎ Generating single line diagrams, cross referencing and numbering;
∎ Sizing and scheduling of Power Cables;
∎ Preparing Earthing and Lightning Protection Calculation and Layout;
∎ Preparing Area Lighting Layout and Illumination calculation;
∎ Preparing BOQ, Panel layout and terminal plans and site supervision;
∎ Performing surveys to collect field data to do load calculations, UPS Sizing, Battery Calculation, Generator Sizing, develop drawings, layouts and installation and testing;
∎ Detail designing of Electrical MCC Panels, Low Tension (LT) Panels, High Tension(HT) Panels and selection of Measuring Instruments (CT and PT), Circuit Breaker (ACB, MCCB, MCB) including all the major and minor equipment of panels;
∎ Providing support to other departments during bidding, designing, execution and troubleshooting of projects;
∎ Performing entire range of engineering tasks in Electrical by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software in coordination with other engineering disciplines in the project;
∎ Familiar with IEEE and IEC standard;
∎ And performing any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have knowledge on MS Office and AutoCAD 2D.
∎ Knowledge on DIALux, E-TAP and AutoCAD 3D will have added advantage.
