Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering, Master of Science (MSc)
∎ Skills Required: BOQ Analysis, Civil, Construction cost estimation, Should have knowledge of Govt. tender process, tender documentation
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Civil Construction, Civil Engineering, ESTIMATE, Tendering Documentation
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Engineering Firms, Group of Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overseeing and managing the estimating department and creating complete mechanical estimates for large and complex projects.
∎ Preparing proper tender documents, Detail estimation & Govt/ Foreign project BOQ analysis.
∎ Identifying and reviewing material and labor requirements in order to determine which is more cost-effective in producing components or purchasing components
∎ Estimating the time, materials, or equipment that are required to complete a job or project.
∎ Creating, analyzing, and maintaining correct and accurate quantities and thorough take-offs from plans.
∎ Showing creativity and resourcefulness in order to gain the best pricing from subcontractors.
∎ Maintaining and updating correct and accurate records of tenders.
∎ Consults with clients, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effect cost reductions, and resolve issues.
∎ Has the ability to manage and track multiple preconstruction projects at once.
∎ Presents and explains project budgets to clients, designers, and operations teams.
∎ Organize the bid team, providing leadership and direction with regards to means and methods, schedule and strategy.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 55 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong analytical skills.
∎ Ability to read, understand and organize construction plans and specifications.
∎ Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
∎ Strong Ability to multitask and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines.
∎ Good communication ( Written/Verbal) in English will get preference.
∎ Experienced in tendering documentation & working at Govt. Project/ Mega project would be added an advantage.
Salary: Negotiable
