Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a dynamic person as an Executive (Banking) in the Banking Department of our company "Netrakona Accessories Ltd."
∎ Department: Banking.
∎ Reports to: Managing Director/CFO/Manager-Banking.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing Feasibility Report/Project Profile/Loan Proposal for existing concerns and/or upcoming concerns of the group.
∎ Checking and monitoring import related documents with the Bank/Foreign Suppliers.
∎ Monitor and manage import L/C related works which include corresponding with suppliers, opening L/C and its amendments, monitoring, shipment, and document retirement formalities.
∎ Correspond with local and foreign banks and suppliers.
∎ Maintain constant liaison with L/C issuing/negotiating/advising banks for smooth import and export operation.
∎ Monitor and ensure that margin, EDF/LTR/PAD, and other import related costs have been properly recorded and correspond with the banks.
∎ Constant follow-up of maturity/due date of various loans like EDF, PAD, LTR, LDBP/LDBC, and other types of loans and correspond with the banks regarding timely adjustment of the loans.
∎ Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports related to import, export and credit/loans.
∎ Any other tasks as required by the department head/management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Well energetic Ex Banker (Probationary Officer/MTO) will get preference.
∎ The applicant should have sound knowledge in the Garment Accessories/RMG industries.
∎ Should have negotiating and convincing skills.
∎ Should have vast knowledge in Import L/C, HS Codes, Incoterms, UCP-Latest version, and Bangladesh Bank's Foreign Exchange guidelines and credit management.
∎ Solid communication skills both written and verbal in English.
∎ Computer efficiency is a must. Adequate knowledge on MS Office package especially advance knowledge in MS Excel and Google Sheet.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
∎ Should be able to work independently.
Salary: Negotiable
