Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry
∎ Training/Trade Course: Must good training of Chemical handling
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ • Must be experience in Textile & Knit composite Industries
∎ • Please do not apply if you are not complete your graduation/ Post graduation in Chemistry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Need to understand colour formulation, prepare colour formula specification and keep record.
∎ Must experienced in Plastic products.
∎ Maintain the emergency chemicals response plan.
∎ Able to work in testing house for all kinds of physical test.
∎ Able to perform all kinds of color fastness to water, wash, rubbing, perspiration, light, pilling, bleeding, Physical Hazard Test.
∎ Able to perform all kinds of chemicals test (Basic or auxiliaries) .
∎ Able to perform SOP for all kinds of fabric test as per ISO method, JIS method.
∎ Make sure & prepare the docs. for the chemicals drilling & conducted to the working places and Compliance Docs.
∎ Maintain & prepare all the chemicals training related doc's and trained properly to the workers.
∎ Maintain Chemical inventory report as per Buyers requirement
∎ Collect MSDS from suppliers on time as required
∎ Ensure material distribution as per consumption
∎ Coordinate with Dyeing, Procurement, MIS & other needed department.
∎ Weekly and monthly conduct the internal chemical and safety audit .
∎ Work as a team with an attitude to support colleagues to achieve the team objectives.
∎ Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation
∎ Monitoring chemical as per register.
∎ Any others task assign by management.
∎ Total Guide line about chemical handling procedure.
∎ Perform full responsibilities as a factory chemist and follow the Chemical & component purchasing procedure to secure product from hazard.
∎ Find the Root cause against test failing issues and take the corrective & preventive action against the Failure.
∎ Conduct internal chemical audit in factory and take necessity steps to recover the audit findings.
∎ Provide the Guideline about ZDHC & Clean Chain procedure to select right suppliers to eliminate hazardous chemical from final product.
∎ Make chemical awareness with all suppliers by sending updated chemical restriction related documents & collect guarantee letters from chemical suppliers.
∎ Conduct monthly chemical training with all concern people.
∎ Arrange meeting in a regular basis at factory for increasing awareness among the workers & staffs on chemical safety.
∎ Need to fulfill the customer chemical & safety requirements.
∎ Maintain documentation for Higg assessment
