Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology, Master of Science (MSc) in Biological Science
∎ Special education on Forensic Psychology/Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED/Autism
∎ Knowledge on Child Development - from Birth to Young Adulthood
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ The School project is an innovative, mission-based, education organization under Smart Innovations Limited which represents a strong focus on improving educational opportunities and its` outcomes for students. The school is seeking ambitious professionals for the positions of Child Care Executive be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
∎
∎ The Child Life Outreach Specialist is responsible for advising and suggesting all tasks related to care of the children. The Child Life Outreach Specialist will serve as knowledge Centre for a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to children and help develop positive relationships with children and their families
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Advice creating a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children
∎ Always monitor and supervise the children's activities
∎ Assist tutoring and academic support for the project
∎ Liaising with teachers/tutors/instructors/doctors/medical and nutritional specialists and implementing schedule to ensure children meets their individual, educational and behavioral goals.
∎ Assist planning lessons according to each students' ability and age group
∎ Taught children manners and appropriate behavior
∎ Discuss regular progress with parents
∎ Assist and encourage children to be confident and independent
∎ Teach the children the subject knowledge and skills they need
∎ Provide up to date education curriculum and assessment methods
∎ Discuss any concerns and report ongoing progress with parents
∎ Act as a positive role model for children
∎ Aid the young adult in their own home and provided a program which allowed them to function more safely and independently within the community
∎ Facilitate physical, recreational and social life skills
∎ Monitor wellbeing and assisted with daily life skills and behavior management training
∎ Recognize potential emergency situations (i.e. hypomanic and aggressive behavior)
∎ Analyze situations accurately and developed strategies to deal with such situations
∎ Actively encouraged personal hygiene and encouraged the administration of medication when required
∎ Taught young adult life skills to promote independence to ensure reduced reliance on full time support
∎ Encourage and facilitate in the young adults personal interests in order to build mutual understanding and caring
∎

∎ Skilled in accident and emergency procedures
∎ Skilled in supporting learning through Computer Applications
∎ Strong organizational skills
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Proven ability to teach all children and you adults with dignity and respect
∎ Developed strong relationships and trust with family and clients
∎ Demonstrated calm in dealing with unexpected, difficult or emergency situations
∎ Profound ability to build interpersonal relationships
∎ The ability to transmit enthusiasm and to foster children and young adults appetite for learning
∎ A sound understanding of early childhood and young adult development and an awareness of problems that can interfere with normal development
