Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate and oversee activities related to audits, reviews, and inspections. Identify non-compliance issues through daily monitoring and internal factory audits.
∎ Conduct internal audits based on labor laws, factory rules, buyer codes of conduct, and relevant national and international standards.
∎ Monitor compliance with certifications such as BSCI, ICS, SEDEX, WRAP, GSV, and Better Work, and manage audits according to their requirements.
∎ Deliver in-house training sessions on occupational health and safety, environmental management systems, fire safety, and grievance handling as directed by factory management.
∎ Implement and maintain RSC standards for fire, electrical, and structural safety to ensure a secure working environment.
∎ Manage and execute social audits for buyers and certifications, including audits for brands like H&M, C&A, Benetton, LC Waikiki, and others.
∎ Regularly track compliance mechanisms using statistical reports and tools on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.-Conduct regular health, safety, and environmental assessments within the facility.
∎ Advise management on important legal updates and compliance decisions related to labor laws and buyer codes of conduct.
∎ Monitor and manage additional sustainability certifications, such as OCS, RCS, GOTS, GRS, European Flex, and Oeko-Tex.
