Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for maintaining appropriate/decent professional behavior towards the patient/client.
∎ Attends to customers by answering required service questions and suggesting information about other services in the assigned area.
∎ Create patient ID by recording personal information and maintain customer records by updating related information.
∎ Resolves service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem expediting correction or adjustment; and following up to ensure resolution.
∎ Recommends potential services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
∎ Updates himself/herself with full awareness of all services provided on all changes and amendments on service features, procedures and processes.
∎ Performs billing and reconciliation activities along with documenting sources of variances and works with team members.
∎ Resolving outstanding aging balances for accounts, using knowledge of business systems and their relationship to contract analysis, invoicing and collection.
∎ Listen to the patient's queries/complaints and address the issues.
∎ To ensure the medical billing services of all corporate clients as per agreement and necessary coordination of receivables.
∎ To notify, top up, and discuss with the patient/client regarding the bill as per queries over the phone and face-to-face.
∎ Appointment Call Center officers aim to deal with customers inquiries on the first call. They may take a customer’s requirement, and if they cannot deal with the issue immediately, they arrange to call the customer back when they have more information, such as arranging consultation with a busy consultant. ACC officers must ensure that customers receive a satisfactory response. Although they aim to deal with calls quickly and efficiently, ACC officers should not put time saving before quality of service.
∎ Calls patients to reschedule appointments who did not show up; calls patients to inquire about next appointments.
