Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead overall operations and strategic planning of the Chamber.
∎ Organize and manage local and international networking events, seminars, and conferences.
∎ Develop and manage the Chamber’s annual budget and ensure financial transparency.
∎ Serve as the primary contact point with government bodies, embassies, business leaders, and partner chambers.
∎ Work closely with Canadian government agencies to support Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy.
∎ Represent the Chamber at national and international forums and media engagements.

∎ Canada Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CanCham Bangladesh) is a non-profit, member-based organization founded in 2005. It promotes bilateral trade and business relations between Canada and Bangladesh, along with the wider Indo-Pacific region. The Executive Director will lead the Chamber's operations and strategic direction in collaboration with the “Board of the Directors” and stakeholders, including the Government of Canada and the High Commission of Canada in Bangladesh.
