Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assess raw material requirements and plan procurement for RM & service work projects.
∎ Raise purchase requisitions (PR) and send requests for quotations (RFQ).
∎ Manage inventory control and ensure accurate stock tracking.
∎ Collect quotations, prepare comparison sheets (CS), and finalize purchase orders.
∎ Prepare purchase orders (PO), collect proforma invoices (PI), process bills, and verify invoices, including site visits if necessary.
∎ Perform data entry in ERP software for procurement and inventory management.
∎ Prepare various reports, including inventory, procurement, material receipt (MRR), consumption, and KPI reports.
∎ Source, document, and enlist vendors into procurement systems.
∎ Update raw material stock in Lighthouse Software for inventory valuation, RM utilization, and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis.
∎ The role is responsible for efficiently assessing raw material requirements, planning procurement, and ensuring seamless inventory control to support project operations. This includes vendor sourcing, purchase requisition processing, quotation analysis, and procurement documentation while maintaining data accuracy in ERP and procurement systems. The position also plays a key role in reporting and analyzing raw material utilization, inventory valuation, and procurement efficiency to optimize cost and operational effectiveness.
