∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Minimum 2 years experience in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical industry.
∎ Strong understanding of API sourcing, procurement, and inventory management.
∎ Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines (e.g., GMP, FDA, WHO).
∎ Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems and supply chain analytics.
∎ Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
∎ Knowledge of import/export regulations for APIs.
∎ Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Raw Material Procurement Planning- Develop and execute monthly/quarterly procurement plans based on production forecasts, covering both local and imported raw materials.
∎ Import & Local Procurement Execution- Ensure timely and cost-effective opening of Letters of Credit (LCs) and supply raw materials to the plant as per projected requirements. Handle all commercial activities related to raw material imports, including communication with banks, CNF agents, and customs clearance.
∎ New Product Development Support- Collaborate with Product Development (PD) and Marketing teams to source new molecules. Ensure timely availability of raw materials required for new product development.
∎ Supplier Management & Vendor Development- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for APIs, excipients, and packaging materials. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for seamless procurement operations.
∎ Local Purchases & Consumables Management- Procure local raw materials, QC reagents, microbiological reagents, laboratory apparatus, and chemicals as per quality standards.
∎ Machinery & Equipment Procurement- Manage purchasing of plant machinery, equipment, and spare parts. Oversee repair, yearly calibration, and validation processes for machinery and equipment.
∎ Procurement Process & Documentation- Handle the full procurement cycle, including analyzing Purchase Requisitions (PR), preparing Comparative Statements (CS), issuing Purchase Orders (PO), and ensuring timely delivery.
