Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
supply chain management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collect proforma invoice from Overseas Vendors, Open LC, and follow up with Vendors regarding shipment and delivery of products.
∎ Coordinate with the freight forwarder, shipping agent and handle LC both in local & foriegn.
∎ Checking & controlling PI & other invoices, packing lists & other related documents for exporting / importing goods & service.
∎ To check & ensure all relevant documents / Papers are required for opening LC.
∎ Follow up of Import LC and ensure proper HS code for timely clearance from customs and save additional cost.
∎ Supervise purchase module in ERP Software and also provide training to fellow team members.
∎ Keeping record of back to back LC performance for all to avoid excess (%) of back to back limit.
∎ Handle shipping line and transports related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods and execution of import & export procedures.
∎ Supervise LC operation including amendments and other additional work.
∎ Correspondence with suppliers regarding goods shipment according to contractual terms.
∎ Other responsibilities assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Excellent communication skills (Both English and Bangla) with strong analytical, strategic thinking, organizational, interpersonal competencies with commendable negotiation skills.
∎ Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
∎ Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary motivation.
∎ Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard acceptance practice.
∎ Professionals working with international markets having hands-on experience of planning, sourcing, HS Code, Import related documentation etc. are encourage to apply.
∎ Minimum 3/5 years job experience in relevant fields is mandatory.
∎ Having product knowledge in the relevant field will get preference.
∎ Power & automation companies' experienced person will get preference.
∎ MBA / PGD in Supply Chain Management will get preference.
Salary: Negotiable
