Job Context:
∎ A reported Private Company " Popular Diagnostic Centre Ltd. " is looking for " Executive/Sr. Executive_ Fixed Assets Controlling " . The incumbent must be energetic & process an enthusiastic personality with self-driven competency for taking challenges.
∎ The role is responsible for recording the cost of all newly acquired fixed (and moveable) assets, maintaining records of these assets, ensuring that throughout their life cycle, they are properly capitalized, maintained, utilized and disposed off appropriately.
∎ This position is accountable for recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Record Fixed assets by creating and supervising a system of procedures, forms, and controls.
∎ Recommend any updates to accounting policies affecting fixed assets to management.
∎ Allocate tag numbers to fixed assets to effectively track them from time to time.
∎ Record in the accounting system newly acquired fixed assets and those disposed.
∎ Track, compile, and record project costs in fixed assets accounts; close out the accounts at the completed of the projects.
∎ Perform reconciliation of fixed assets subsidiary ledger balance with summary-level account in the general ledger.
∎ Perform depreciation calculation for all fixed assets.
∎ Perform revision and update on the detailed schedule on accumulated depreciation and fixed assets.
∎ Perform assets retirement obligation calculations for ARO applicable assets.
∎ Find out fixed assets obsolescence potential.
∎ Carry out periodic reviews on intangible assets impairment
∎ Carry out inventory counts of fixed assets physically
∎ Recommend the fixed assets that should be disposed off to management
∎ As may be requested by management, perform fixed assets related analyses
∎ Create fixed assets related audit schedules and collaborate with auditors on their assignments.
∎ Track Company's fixed assets spending in relation to its capital budget, as well as management authorizations.
∎ He performs proper depreciation of recognized assets by estimating their life value as well as salvage value. He can then calculate the yearly depreciation expense of each asset.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must have good communication skill.
∎ Flexible of taking any kind of responsibility.
∎ Strong Knowledge in Accounting & Finances.
∎ Must have 5-10 years experience in Diagnostic or Hospital related specific job.
Salary: Negotiable
