Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic: (10%)
∎ BYLC’s Strategies and project goals, policies, plans, and guidelines are properly maintained
∎ Support to enhance on to establish strategies for organizational and institutional development, growth, and sustainability
∎ Initiatives to enhance BYLC’s image and leadership role nationally and globally
∎ Ensure Institutional and program regulatory and adherence of country laws and regulations
∎ Promote and practice BYLC Values (Integrity, Respect Towards Others, Empathy, Excellence in everything We Do, Continuous Development and Practice Adapting Leadership) at all times
∎ Ensure Safeguard and protection of life and dignity of all associated personnel of BYLC as well as the assets and property.
∎ Operational: (80%)
∎ Assist team members, on portfolio management and monitor business performance, and support strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions, capital raising at the portfolio level, and portfolio exits.
∎ Prepare presentation related to financial analysis. Maintain and update financial models pre and post financial closing
∎ Assist in organizing and conducting bootcamps, accelerator training sessions, board meetings with startups.
∎ Assist in maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders, including educational institutes, public/private organizations, university clubs, teachers, graduates, and media.
∎ Working cross-functionally across analytics, insights, innovation, finance, supply, and commercialization/technical. Maintaining a productive and collaborative relationship with all the team members and cross functional teams
∎ Coordinate relationship management initiatives with alumni for impact stories and documentation purposes

∎ Lead the initial evaluation and documentation of investment opportunities which could involve project management, comprehensive financial modeling, on-the-ground due diligence, management meetings, legal and documentation.
∎ Prepare presentation related to financial analysis. Maintain and update financial models pre and post financial closing
∎ Assist in organizing and conducting bootcamps, accelerator training sessions, board meetings with startups.
∎ Assist in maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders, including educational institutes, public private organizations, university clubs, teachers, graduates, and media.
∎ Working cross-functionally across analytics, insights, innovation, finance, supply, and commercialization/technical. Maintaining a productive and collaborative relationship with all the team members and cross functional teams
∎ Coordinate relationship management initiatives with alumni for impact stories and documentation purposes
∎ People Management and Relationship Building: (10%)
∎ Manage and ensure different initiatives for the capacity building of team members.
∎ Functionally manage project assistant/intern of the department
∎ Coordinate with campus coordinators from different universities
∎ Ensure a strong network with other youth organizations, NGOs, government agencies, private sectors, and relevant stakeholders to advocate for promotional events and engagement with private sector agencies.
∎ To assist in conducting a gender-friendly assessment by following the Organization Name’s Child Protection Policy, Gender Policy and Prevention of Sexual harassment policy, and other relevant guidelines and disseminate the report to the competent authority to address the issue.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ Good skills in both written and verbal communication
∎ Excellent writing skills in Bangla and English
∎ Process management (Gantt chart, MS Office, etc.)
∎ Understanding analysis of investment appraisal techniques and financial modeling.
∎ Self-motivated and self-driven individuals can promote community engagement.
∎ Good presentation/facilitation skills (psychosocial counseling, child/staff protection & safeguarding, inclusiveness, discrimination, events reporting, meetings, workshops, seminars etc.)
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with colleagues and partners in a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment.
∎ Willingness to work flexible hours is a critical requirement for this role.
∎ Should be dedicated to daily task completion.
∎ Solid organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, work independently, set priorities, effectively manage time and staff, and meet deadlines.
∎ Interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
