Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Footwear/Leather Product Engineering.
∎ Related Bachelor Degree from any reputed institutions.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Dimensional Analysis, Footwear Components, Footwear Equipments, Footwear Machinery, Footwear Materials, Footwear Quality, Manufacturing technology, Preferably experience in working with a reputed Footwear Brand, Quality Control Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Retail Store, Tannery/Footwear
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials.
∎ Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product requirements.
∎ Reject all the incoming raw materials fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest.
∎ Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.
∎ Monitor the production phase at various levels.
∎ Maintaining and calibrating measuring equipment to various testing standards.
∎ Questioning the nature of defects while providing future solutions.
∎ Alerting the Quality Assurance department of ongoing problems and delivering resolutions.
∎ Inspecting raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity.
∎ Filling out and maintaining proper paperwork.
∎ Complying with any and all standards, internal policies and legal regulations that apply to the finished product.
∎ Comparing finished products to original patents.
∎ Carry out any directives given by The Management, for betterment of the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Be honest, trustworthy, respectful and flexible.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and hard worker.
∎ Proven working experience in Footwear Industry.
∎ Should have sound knowledge about all kinds of Leather Products.
∎ Monitor QC activities in all process area.
∎ Micrometer, gauge, measuring scale and caliper use.
∎ Good computer skills (MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) preferred.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
∎ Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills.
Salary: Negotiable
