Job Responsibilities:
∎ Visit all the associate factories and provide support on any fabric issue, sampling, base testing, lab dip/strike-off/handloom, bulk testing, appearance, handle and color approval, garment washing, garment dyeing, etc.
∎ Follow up, examine, and ensure the quality of in-house fabrics.
∎ Work closely with the buying house quality controller team.
∎ Follow up weaving to finishing.
∎ Provide technical support to the fabric scouring team and merchandiser, helping them develop fabric suppliers.
∎ Claim fabric replacement for quality failure in formal documents through the proper authority.
∎ Responsible for proper documentation and reporting of fabric inspection, shrinkage, shade, and washing appearances.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ The applicants have the ability to handle multiple product categories (knit, woven, etc.).
∎ The candidates have the willingness to visit the associate’s factory frequently.
∎ Up to date with the latest quality concepts (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.), tools, and best practices.
∎ Should have knowledge of all aspects of quality control methods and practices.
∎ Positive work ethics and a focus on results for assigned responsibilities
∎ The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients is important.
∎ A commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to enhancing quality processes and practices are highly valued.
