Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Metal Fabrication: Fabricate and assemble metal structures, components, and equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
∎ Welding: Employ a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join and repair metal components with precision.
∎ Boilermaking: Specialize in the construction, repair, and maintenance of boilers, pressure vessels, and tanks, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
∎ Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and high-quality work.
∎ Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to verify compliance with quality standards. Address any defects or issues promptly.
∎ Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, such as welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and boilermaking tools.
∎ Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
∎ Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines, share expertise, and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
∎ As a Boilermaker and Welder, you will play a pivotal role in the fabrication, assembly, and welding of metal structures and components. This dual-role requires proficiency in both boilermaking and welding techniques, ensuring the production of top-notch products. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams to meet project requirements and quality standards.·
