Job Context:

∎ The Fashion Graphics Designer holds the accountability for creating all over prints (AOPs), placement prints, CADs, and graphics for a variety of garments for womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear. The incumbent will also be involved in researching fashion trends, new dye and print techniques, sourcing prints and approving strike offs.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create seasonal trend and concept boards, ensuring that there's a pipeline of new products for our customer
∎ Design original placement graphics and AOP prints for all product categories
∎ Demonstrate good understanding on the different 'handwriting' requirements between global customers and markets
∎ Work closely with supervisor to design their respective category based on design direction given
∎ Create artwork with callouts (i.e., detailed specs, technique, color swatches, product detail placement, etc.)
∎ Maintain aesthetic and design that is on brand throughout all design work
∎ Research seasonal fashion trend direction, assortment opportunities, current market trends in garment decoration processes for art locations & techniques and adopts new art/technique concepts accordingly into technical skillset
∎ Work closely with Product Design and Sampling teams to produce trend-driven/updated artworks within specified deadlines
∎ Develop complete tech packs in coordination with the design team, including detailed specifications, fabrications, and technical drawings
∎ Ensure technical execution to include with drawings, including measurements, color pantones, and design detail specifications of all illustrative art
∎ Ensure sizing, formatting art files and sending to factories for development
∎ Responsible for tech packs maintenance, tracking changes/additions, and clear timely communication with cross-function partners across international production managers, technical design team, and merchandising
∎ Maintain thorough knowledge of current and past assortment. Including decoration techniques, silhouettes, yarns/fabrics, and design details.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years' relevant work experience with fashion design related graphics, CADs and prints/AOP
∎ Solid knowledge and experience in repeats, print separations and all print major techniques is required
∎ Knowledge of the apparel retail industry, marketing principles, and product development process
∎ Must have experience with mood boards, drawing/sketching, ideation, tech pack production, digital product creation and visual presentation development
∎ Should have outstanding visual design skills in typography, composition, illustration, branding, and layout
∎ Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
∎ Fascination and familiarity with current trends, culture, and design in fashion
∎ Must be up to date with trendy verbiage and prints
∎ Ability to multitask and prioritize work on a continual basis
∎ Must be a self-starter with strong initiative and hard work ethic
∎ Strong software abilities on Adobe CS6 Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign as well as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
∎ Superior attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team
∎ Should be well-presented, smart, and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
