∎ At least four years working experience in NGO/INGO in similar positions preferably in agriculture/livestock/fisheries program.
∎ Able to facilitate several agriculture and livestock related trainings.
∎ Knowledge of practices that integrate climate resilience, productivity, and sustainability (e.g., crop diversification, livestock management, conservation agriculture etc).
∎ Sound knowledge and practical experience on establish agriculture demonstration firms, community gardening, farmer’s field schools, develop resources farmers, seed bank, integrated farming system, homestead agriculture, livestock, mini-aquaculture and several IGA interventions etc.
∎ Experience on food security and livelihood programming, preferably in riverine char and coastal regions of Bangladesh.
∎ Experience in delivering training sessions and workshops on climate-smart techniques.
∎ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
∎ Exceptional verbal & written communication and presentation skills.
∎ Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Field Facilitator will serve as the key focal point for project implementation at the Union level and will report directly to the Project Focal. S/he will be responsible for leading and managing the entire tasks and quality implementation of planned activities in the project location. S/he will be maintained strong collaboration with all staff and stakeholders efficiently.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ The Field Facilitator will serve as the key focal point for project implementation at the Union level and will report directly to the Project Focal.
∎ S/he will be responsible for leading and managing the entire tasks and quality implementation of planned activities in the project location.
∎ S/he will be maintained strong collaboration with all staff and stakeholders efficiently.
∎ Identify eligible households as per beneficiary selection criteria for several livelihood and IGA interventions in the project location.
∎ S/he should provide technical guidance, prepare training materials and facilitate training on agriculture (including livestock & aquaculture) and non-agricultural interventions (IGAs).
∎ Assist to develop module for several agriculture and livestock related training·
∎ Assess household needs and coordinate the distribution of agricultural inputs such as cattle, goat, sheep, poultry, duck, pigeon, seeds, sapling, organic fertilizers, feed, tools and so on.
∎ Provide technical support to establish on homestead gardening, mini pond, crop production, etc.
∎ Provide training capacity and skill building training to the Resource Farmers, Livestock Service Provider (LSP) and extension worker.
∎ Provide technical support to livestock and poultry rearing and organize vaccination campaign.
∎ Technical support to the farmers/owners of demonstration firm.
∎ Close coordination with upazilas level Govt. Agriculture, livestock, fisheries and social service department.
∎ Provide technical support to different IGA group.· Capture lessons learned, document best practices, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the project team.
∎ It is a union level field-based position but have to visit to upazila parishad/govt. officials if required.
∎ Assist project management in any other issue.

∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2028. The job location will be in Gangachora, Rangpur and Char Fashion, Bhola.
