Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for suitable Bangladeshi candidate for the position of Pilot Programmatic Partnership Project funded by DG ECHO-
∎ Project Name : PPP (Pilot Programmatic Partnership) Project
∎ Duration of Contract : 07 months, up to 31 December 2022 (with possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance and availability of fund).
∎ Reportable To: Project Officer
∎ Job Purpose: Under the direct supervision of BDRCS Project Officer and Unit Level Officer, the Field Officer will be responsible for the overall implementation and management of the project. The position will work closely with project management team of BDRCS, GRC, DRC and IFRC and will maintain strong coordination with all relevant stakeholders at district level. The Field Officer will also ensure that the project is implemented according to the project workplan with the highest standards of service, quality of financial and administrative management, and accountability, thus contributing to the overall project efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Implementation and Progress Monitoring:
∎ Support the day to day roll out of activities together with Unit level staff and volunteers
∎ Support the continuous monitoring, quality and timely implementation of all activities.
∎ Plan and carry out the program with team members and volunteers, the tasks to improve DRM, Health, and CEA support to vulnerable communities of targeted areas.
∎ Ensuring all activities are implemented, monitored and reported correctly to all key stakeholders.
∎ Ensuring effective utilization of project budgets keeping the overall goal and objectives of the program.
∎ Regularly visit the project areas, plan and monitor activities during implementation of the project.
∎ Create a positive environment among the team members so that the multidimensional team can demonstrate their full potential.
∎ Ensure the visibility of project activities at district level and as it may be necessary.
∎ Conduct relevant trainings, coaching and on job training of staff and volunteers for enhanced capacity building.
∎ Coordination:
∎ Closely coordinate with all stakeholders and service providers to ensure complementary and synergy of services.
∎ Maintain close coordination with GRC, DRC, IFRC and BDRCS counterparts/teams and ensure effective coordination and interlinkage between the different project components through a "one programme Approach".
∎ Coordinate, supervise and mentor staff and volunteers all activities in the targeted communities and build sustainable linkages with all stakeholders including government agencies.
∎ Ensure an effective integration and coordinated approaches for EPPR, DRM and CEA in the overall implementation of project activities.
∎ Reporting and Documentation:
∎ Prepare good quality reports and evidence-based documentation of project activities.
∎ Support the development of IEC Materials, case studies with evidence and success stories to be shared project team members and other relevant stakeholders
∎ Collect, collate and analyze data to ensure progress report of the project every month.
∎ Support the program team, volunteers and mobilizers to effectively assess, design, monitor and report on project activities regularly.
∎ Teamwork:
∎ Assist the project team in ensuring and following the community engagement and accountability process and protection, gender and inclusion and other quality standards while implementing any activity.
∎ Work closely with GRC and project management team for assessment, project planning, implementation, supportive supervision, monitoring and reporting processes.
∎ Leadership and Capacity Development:
∎ Supervise volunteers and related staffs for quality implementation of project activities.
∎ Provide regular technical support with guidelines on project's component.
∎ Build capacity of volunteers and community groups as per project need.
∎ Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 2/3 years working experience in the field of DRR, Community Health and CEA.
∎ Working experience in the field of emergency response context is an advantage.
∎ Applicants must be motivated self-starters and competent professionals.
∎ Knowledge, training and facilitation skill on any of the following fields; DRM and community Health are a must.
∎ Applicants must be skilled in leading and working in a multi-faceted team.
∎ Applicants must be skilled in documentation and communication through quality narrative and numeric reporting.
∎ Good computer literacy in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel is a must.
∎ Knowledge of digital data collection (e.g., Kobo) is an advantage.
∎ Community mobilization experience will be considered as an asset.
∎ The applicant must be fluent in English and Bangla
∎ Age Limit : 35 years maximum (Age limit will be relaxed in case of potential candidates).

Salary:
∎ Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
∎ Up to BDT 50,000 per month (consolidated), other benefits as per organizations policy.
