Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Coordinator will support all the efforts to ensure the health sector decisions to SRH in Emergency Rohingya Response, Cox’s Bazar especially maternal, newborn and child health including family planning, GBV, STI/RTI and ASRH.
∎ The coordinator will be responsible in day to day implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project by ensuring the project outcomes are in line with the PHD, government and UNFPA policies and procedure.
∎ The Coordinator will also work closely with the UNFPA programme as well as Field teams.
∎ Compiling and maintaining quarterly project reports and minutes of meetings; and ensuring financial and narrative reports are provided to UNFPA on time.
∎ Develop, monitor and keep all project staff aligned to MNRHP, work plan based on knowledge and understanding of project activities, outputs, targets and timelines.
∎ Identifying gaps and priority areas of work in implementing the MNRHP, Cox’s Bazar. This includes proposing reasonable review and recommendations for adjustment of activities where necessary.
∎ Identifying the capacity gaps and providing technical assistance and capacity building to the CHW Supervisors and ASRH Mentors to ensure the work plan is implemented within budget and in the prescribed time period.
∎ Participating actively in meetings and reviews and undertake monitoring missions to assess progress of implementation, including baseline and end line assessments, field monitoring visits, Health Sector coordination meetings and other relevant partners’ forums.
∎ Any other tasks seemed necessary to achieve the project objectives according to the request of higher authority.
∎ Purpose of the job:
∎ Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a national development organization in Bangladesh that has been working in the public health sector over 32 years and currently implementing different projects around the country. PHD intends to hire one competent ‘Field Operation Coordinator’ for proposed Community Based Maternal, Neonatal Sexual & Reproductive Health Program (MNRHP) for the Rohingya & Host Community, of Cox’s Bazar district.
