Job Context:
∎ People`s Oriented Program Implementation (POPI) is a national non-governmental development organization with a vision to build a prudent nation free from hunger and poverty where every citizen leads a life with dignity and equity. Presently it has development partnership arrangements with government entities and more than 40 diversified development partners, MFIs and other financial institutions operating at international, national and regional levels. Currently it has been implementing multi-sectoral socio economic development projects and programs across Bangladesh.
∎ POPI invites application from the experienced professionals with proven track record for the following position for its Strengthening Environment Friendly Buffalo Rearing in Kishoreganj supported by PKSF under Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP). Working areas of the project are 3 Upazillas (Austogram, Bajitpur & Nikli) of Kishoregonj District.
∎ Contract duration : 2 years, Up to April 2023

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing and maintaining the books of accounts;
∎ Prepare all transaction vouchers like, debit, credit and journal voucher;
∎ Field visit to monitor and supervise in line of accounts procedure;
∎ Prepare and update all kinds of register like, salary, cheque, fixed assets, advance, stock register etc.;
∎ Maintain daily transactions include Cash Book & General Ledger;
∎ Update every transaction into Tally;
∎ Ensure the logistics and procurement as per the policy and procedures;
∎ Prepare the reimbursement report;
∎ Prepare the accounts report of statement, audit report;
∎ Prepare documents of Company VAT and Tax;
∎ Plan, supervise and coordinate procurement activities of the SEP for works, goods and services following PPA and PPR rules, procedures and regulations;
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by his/her supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 2-3 years extensive professional experience of development projects and project management.
∎ Having knowledge on over whole accounts section maintains;
∎ Having knowledge on plan, supervise and coordinate procurement activities of the SEP for works, goods and services following PPA and PPR rules, procedures and regulations;
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Excellent networking, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
∎ Excellent communications skills both in Bangla and English;
∎ Strong analytical and report-writing skills;
∎ Excellent command using Microsoft Office Package (MS word, Excel, Power Point);
∎ Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds;
∎ Willingness to travel to, and work in, remote areas;

Salary:
∎ Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
∎ BDT 40,000/-(consolidated) with other admissible benefits as per organizational policy.
