Job Context:
∎ Very strong technical skills in knitwear garments - ie detailed knowledge and understanding of - yarns, auto knitting machines, knitwear garment construction knowledge, quality inspection skills .
∎ Strong problem solving and judgement skills
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla – should be confident to be able to call UK colleagues to discuss key issues.
∎ Experience and ability to work with all levels of employees in factories and customers , in a multi-national organization.
∎ Detailed knowledge about the garment production process in factories from sampling until shipment
∎ Strong personal skills and ability to resolve conflict
∎ Able and willing to work under pressure.
∎ Good level of computer literacy (Outlook, Teams,Zoom, Word, Excel)
∎ Good administration skills for keeping and filing style documents
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure that all samples made by garment factories before bulk production meet the customers & company’s requirements
∎ To be able to do risk analysis for every new style
∎ To ensure that the factories knitting charts meet the garment specification charts.
∎ To ensure that factories are clear on comments & workbook details before proceeding for samples.
∎ To ensure that sample construction is production friendly and the required quality standard is achievable.
∎ To communicate effectively with the UK company technologist and factories sample & production and quality departments to ensure that any issues are solved before bulk production commences
∎ To hold and manage PP meetings with the factories
∎ To be able to communicate effectively with the other members of the QA team and the Technical & QA Manager, and the other team members in the company ( merch / gar tech / admin/ compliance) to ensure that all necessary information about samples is correctly communicated.
∎ To manage and file documentation as per company system requirement
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Minimum 10 years experience in the garment industry - working in garment factories / suppliers / brands.

Car pick and drop from/to factory visit
