Job Context:
∎ B. J. Geo-Textile Ltd., a fast-growing non-woven geotextile manufacturing company based in Sreepur and Head office at banani, Dhaka, is now looking for a General Manager for its` factory operation. The Factory comprises of 3 entities with Fibre manufacturing, geotextile and related product manufacturing units. We are looking for a responsible individual with previous experience supervising and/or managing others in production and/or manufacturing environments with 15 years of work experience in complex Manufacturing unit.
∎ Job location: Sreepur, Mawna, Gazipur
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, organizing and managing operations of multiple production departments to meet daily production goals
∎ Coordinate Production Schedules and Manage production staff. Reduce downtime on production lines
∎ Developing and implementing processes and procedures that ensure 100% accuracy of all products which are manufactured and assure compliance by employees.
∎ Monitor and Manage SCM, perform regular inventory counts and reconcile to inventory and production system
∎ Manage production schedules and requirements in the most cost-effective manner with a focus on quality.
∎ Coordinate with the HR department on all hiring, terminations and employee reviews of production staff
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 15 Years working experience in the similar industry such as spinning, Knitting
∎ The applicants should have experience in Production Management Factory/ Plant/ Facility Management, Administration
∎ Good command in both written and spoken English
∎ Computer Literacy is essential, must be able to do all communication by himself, ERP users will have better advantages.
