Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support project manager of projects in C / C++ or C# .NET or ASP .NET or Java or PHP or Android or iOS or others.
∎ Support SW development team for the project of C / C++ or C# .NET or ASP .NET or Java or PHP or Android or iOS or others.
∎ Understanding all of the common tools and technologies related to software development. Like, Android, iOS, Web, windows application (C#, ASP, .NET) development and related technologies.
∎ General management of an offshore development center (ODC) of about 50 engineer of a Japanese company.
∎ Support the company to achieve the mission, short- and long-term goal of the ODC
∎ Participate in the evaluation of all engineer. Find out week point and define action to improve.
∎ Find out poor performer and take further action as per company policy
∎ Follow-up, monitor and control the attendance of engineer, late and leave.
∎ Support and train engineer to build up technical skill, Japanese culture (DOL culture) & quality mindset.
∎ Conduct introductory training of new engineers
∎ Ensuring suitable and convenient office & working environment
∎ Support in the administrative activities of the ODC
∎ Support to define & improve guidelines, rules, policies of ODC
∎ Implement and ensure all of the policies and rules in the ODC
∎ Monitor the schedule & budget of each project and synchronize accordingly with ODC and headquarter (at Japan)
∎ Review the estimation (Sometime prepare) when new project start. Negotiate with PM at Japan and ODC development team to set realistic deadline.
∎ Monitor and track the risk of each project of ODC. Escalate the risk, define & execute the mitigation action and contingency action plan.
∎ Participate in the resource planning in different project with headquarter at Japan
∎ Ensure compliance of all policy and process of ODC
∎ Ensure self-reporting and all engineers reporting as per policy
∎ Conduct all the meetings as per company policy and schedule
∎ One-to-one with all resources of ODC to check their mindset, motivational issue and plan & execute improvement actions
∎ Monitoring the workload of engineer and act if workload is very high.
∎ Guide to the development team in case of any critical situation
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Work experience:
∎ SW development experience in common technologies like C / C++ or C# .NET or ASP .NET or Java or PHP or Android or iOS or others. (At least 4~5 years)
∎ SW project management experience in common technologies like C / C++ or C# .NET or ASP .NET or Java or PHP or Android or iOS or others. (At least 4~5 years)
∎ Must have working experience with SW industry.
∎ Nice to have certification in scrum master, PRINCE 2, PMP etc.
∎ Technology: Common SW development related tools & technologies like C / C++ or Java or PHP or Android or iOS or others.
∎ Tools: Git, Backlog, G-Suite, Slack.
Salary: Negotiable
