∎ Age at least 38 years
∎ 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the automotive industry.
∎ Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes (press shop, body shop, paint shop, assembly).
∎ Proven experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
∎ Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
∎ Proficient in ERP systems, production planning tools, and data analytics.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and manage all aspects of factory operations including production, maintenance, quality control, logistics, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety).
∎ Ensure production targets are met in alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
∎ Manage budgets and optimize resource allocation across departments.
∎ Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM practices.
∎ Coordinate with R&D, supply chain, and sales to ensure smooth integration of new products and timely delivery.
∎ Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and corporate policies.
∎ Build and develop a high-performance team by mentoring key managers and implementing effective training programs.
∎ Report operational performance to senior leadership and recommend strategic initiatives.
∎ Oversee factory expansions, new equipment installations, and modernization projects as needed.
∎ We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the overall operations of our automobile manufacturing plant. The GM will be responsible for strategic planning, production, quality assurance, safety, supply chain management, and team leadership to ensure the factory operates efficiently, meets production goals, and adheres to high standards of quality and safety.
