Job Context:
∎ We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the company’s supply of products and services.
∎ Procurement Manager Responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers.
∎ The Procurement Manager’s duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.
∎ Must be sound knowledge on Spinning mill.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
∎ Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
∎ Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
∎ Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
∎ Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
∎ Examine and test existing contracts.
∎ Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
∎ Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
∎ Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
∎ Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
∎ Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
∎ Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial, Fabric Manufacturing, yarn manufacturing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Shipping, Spinning, Textile, and Garments.
∎ Excellent knowledge about up to date raw materials and manufacturing costs for all related items
∎ Source potential suppliers on regular basis, Evaluating Suppliers' qualification & proposals through comparative study and preparation of Purchase Orders.
∎ Ensure that all practices are consistent with company guidelines and regulations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 45 to 52 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Good in written and spoken English.
∎ Proven work experience as a sourcing or procurement key person of Fabric and Accessories.
∎ Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software;
∎ Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment.
∎ Strong project management and leadership skills.
∎ Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
∎ Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.
∎ Able to computer knowledge.
∎ Sound knowledge presentation.
Salary: Negotiable
