Job Context:
∎ Our restaurant is seeking a passionate, skilled Head Cook to create delicious meals for the resources of BJIT Limited. You will be responsible for planning our menu, ensuring that each dish is nutritious and cost-effective, and collaborating with a team of kitchen staff to deliver food that meets the highest quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
∎ Planning the menu, keeping the budget in mind and availability of seasonal ingredients.
∎ Overseeing & monitoring all kitchen operations.
∎ Coordinating kitchen staff, and assisting them as required.
∎ Training staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
∎ Preparing the meals maintaining health safety and hygiene.
∎ Taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.
∎ Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven 5+ years of experience as a Chef or Cook.
∎ Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
∎ Have experience in cooking various Bangla dishes.
∎ Previous experience in cooking for 300+ people.
∎ Experience of excellent management skills of the team.
∎ Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment.
∎ Expert multitasking ability.
∎ Have leadership skills.
