Responsibilities & Context:
∎ “A leading multinational company is seeking a highly skilled professional for the role of Head of Compliance.
∎ This 18-month project role, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, within our Legal function, focuses on Business Conduct & Compliance. The successful candidate will drive the compliance and assurance agenda, ensuring an effective control environment and supporting business decisions. Responsibilities include adapting the compliance strategy to mitigate emerging risks, providing support for Legal Compliance systems, and ensuring integrity in business conduct through process efficiencies and data transparency. The role involves acting as a subject matter expert in areas such as Anti-Financial Crimes, Supply Chain Compliance, and Data Privacy, managing engagement across compliance teams, and providing assurance on control operations.
∎ The candidate will also coordinate internal audits, lead the compliance first pillar, oversee compliance frameworks and training, and prepare compliance reports for senior management.
