Educational Requirements:
∎ CA Partly Qualified /ACCA/CMA is must.
∎ Masters in Accounting/ Finance or MBA in Accounting /Finance is added advantage
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accounts, Finance, Internal Audit, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
IT Enabled Service, Manufacturing (FMCG), Software Company
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Development of existing accounting & financial system and strategy.
∎ Provide timely and accurate analysis of Budgets, Financial Reports and Financial Trends in order to assist the Management team to perform their responsibilities.
∎ Designing Business Plans/strategies for maximizing revenue, profitability & liquidity.
∎ Meeting Official Account, Costing & statutory Auditing requirements including internal audit by implementing functional systems, monitoring and achieving cost reduction.
∎ Cost Benefit Analysis of each activity in business Processes, identifying key and critical processes to operate at optimum Cost.
∎ Advising on TAX & VAT planning (Within current legislation to enable them to minimize the Tax liabilities).
∎ Manage, supervise and analysis of all treasury related activities such as cash management, cash forecasting, interest rate monitoring etc.
∎ Maintain liaison with Banks and other financial institutions, Board of Investment, Bangladesh Bank, NBR and other external stake holders regarding financial issues.
∎ Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information, statements and reports.
∎ Monitor the monthly and actual expenses to expenditure.
∎ Projection of fund disbursement plan.
∎ Implement the internal control procedures.
∎ Review the accounting documentations, reports, data, flowcharts etc.
∎ Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operational needs.
∎ Check invoices for payment, checking bank reconciliation, checking bank payment vouchers and journal vouchers, monthly payroll and others
∎ Represent the company to the investment community
∎ Communicate with external auditors, investors and stakeholder
Additional Requirements:
∎ Fintech Industry or Mobile Financial Services (MFS) is added advantage
∎ Knowledge on all statutory legislation and regulations
∎ Strong Team building and leadership skills
∎ 5+ years of experience for a major group of company/ company, with at least 3 years of experience in a Senior Leadership position
∎ Should have experience in working with the Senior Executive Team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills specially in English (Must)
∎ Sound knowledge on computer literacy (MS Office, Accounting Software
