Educational Requirements:
∎ M. Sc. / B. Sc. in Industrial Engineering from any reputed public university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 15 to 18 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and maintain a work environment conducive to achieve high productivity, utilizing manpower, materials and machines correctly.
∎ Analyze and control the process of production in line with strategies issued by the management.
∎ Ensure operational guidelines, procedures and practices are followed.
∎ Direct and control the improvement of production process.
∎ Direct and control the implementation of new technology and modern techniques to improve productivity and efficiency.
∎ Ensure customer and worker safety requirements are met in work place.
∎ Monitor and ensure product quality meets the required standards and customers' requirements.
∎ Ensure management of reporting production cost, maintenance, consumption, stock and inventory, headcount, quality and safety for effective decision making by the management.
∎ Monitor and ensure cost reduction by directing and implementing the reduction of all kind of production wastage like - rejection, rework, wrong cutting, excess production and excess working hour.
∎ Monitor and manage floor discipline, identify training needs and manage career development of subordinates.
∎ Managing all the IE process.
∎ Preparing daily operation bulletin and line layout.
∎ Preparing Line balancing.
∎ Follows up time- study, capacity study, production study.
∎ Fixing & monitoring line score sheets by hourly output basis.
∎ Analyze individual operator's skill level.
∎ Conduct time study and motion study and idle man, machine hours on daily basis.
∎ Prepare monthly projection & labor cost analysis.
∎ Line feeding with sewing technician and line supervisors.
∎ Set base target, semi-critical & critical operations, ensure the implementation of line and special incentive policy.
∎ Reviewing production plan with capacity & strength along with ensuring timely shipment target.
∎ Preparing SMV database for all styles & SMV wise layout target.
∎ Ensuring optimum utilization of Man, Machine and Material.
∎ Preparing weekly NPT report and ensuring possible NPT reduction;
∎ Reviewing operators' skill level (monthly) and ensuring corrective action along with the proposal of training for potential workers.
∎ Preparing workers' assessment report (quarterly) to use the same for personal and organizational development or improvement.
∎ Ensuring combined production report of fabric, cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, finishing and shipment.
∎ Apply statically methods and perform mathematical calculation to determine manufacturing process, staff requirements and production standard.
∎ Conduct skill assessment of new operators, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs an manage their career development.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kinds of wastage.
∎ Ensuring effective communication with planning department.
∎ Continuously follow up bottlenecks report.
∎ Start new style after learning cap wise production target fix.
∎ Head to head cost prepare/monitor/follow up.
∎ Any other tasks assign by the superior/management.
∎ Carry out any additional assignments delegated by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Working experience in Knit Garments Factory.
∎ Applicant must have skill on team work, work under pressure along with positive attitude.
∎ Goal oriented, good communication and collaborative skills, critical thinking and problem solving, leadership skills, positive and proactive approach to work, planning and organizational ability.
