Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop IT strategy in alignment with Group Strategy and ensure technology transformations are undertaken.
∎ Develop short and long term plan for development of IT infrastructure, software and business automation initiatives.
∎ Ensure the delivery of all aspects of the IT strategy, budget, resources, systems, third party management.
∎ Development of user group across the business to gain quality feedback and prioritize requirements, ensuring these are translated into application development.
∎ Identification of initiatives to ensure growth within the IT arena and flexing the strategy to deal with these areas.
∎ Ensure building an efficient workforce by creating a conducive environment where people are motivated, engaged, and respected and where values are practiced.
∎ Ensure succession of key resources, recognize performers and develop people to grow as future leaders.IT Infrastructure :
∎ Transit to an agile operating platform capable of supporting both the current and the future operating states.
∎ Maintain efficient and effective infrastructure for all users of the group of both the internal and external business systems.
∎ Oversee the management of third-party providers of infrastructure to ensure contracts, commercial arrangements and serviceIT Security:
∎ Responsible for all IT security across the business apart from customer related items, and mitigate security risks with proper and proactive mechanisms.
∎ Oversee all Data Protection activities and ensure highest prevention of data breach, data leakage and fraudulent activities.
∎ Lead and ensure the mechanisms and strategies to secure data to best practice levels supporting cyber security areas.IT Applications:
∎ Develop the overall business systems roadmap in alignment with the IT strategy and delegate IT leaders in achieving relevant areas of the roadmap.
∎ Ensure business focused IT enhancements and construct an effective ROI linking with the overall IT strategy and system roadmap.
∎ Identify the delivery of the applications strategy through both internal business analysts, developers as well as third party partners in the most efficient manner for the business.
∎ Collaborate with the business leaders on end-to-end business processes that are fully supported by the seamless applications.
∎ Drive continuous improvement, stability, performance and usability in applications across the group
∎ Oversee the identification of the system and process vulnerabilities and manage releases, upgrades and patches if required.IT Support across the Group:
∎ Oversee a capable team of IT engineers to deliver support services across the businesses through IT service desk, online queries, and hotlines.
∎ Enhance the skill sets among the team to deliver the future state operating platform.
∎ Develop and motivate the IT team across the business through coaching and mentoring, reviewing performance, goals and objectives.
∎ Oversee and ensure the company's all information technology issues are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
∎ Develop, track, and control the development and deployment of annual IT operating and Capital budgets for the company.

∎ The role holder will be responsible for leading and managing the entire Information Technology function and ensuring that technology systems and applications are focused on meeting the evolving needs of the Group.
