∎ Job Summary: The Head of Operations at Muslim Hands International Bangladesh will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective implementation of operational activities to support the organization's programs and projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality humanitarian assistance.

∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Financial Planning and Budgeting:
∎ Develop annual budgets in collaboration with program managers and senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
∎ Monitor budget utilization and provide regular updates to management, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.
∎ Financial Reporting:
∎ Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and donor regulations.
∎ Ensure compliance with reporting requirements of donors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
∎ Financial Management:
∎ Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
∎ Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of financial transactions and ensure adherence to internal controls.
∎ Manage the operational budget effectively, ensuring proper allocation of resources and adherence to financial regulations and policies.
∎ Prepare financial forecasts, budget variance analysis, and other reports to support decision-making and accountability.
∎ Audit and Compliance:
∎ Coordinate external audits and ensure timely submission of audited financial statements.
∎ Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including tax filings, and liaise with auditors, government agencies, and donors as necessary.
∎ Operational Planning and Management:
∎ Develop and implement operational plans and procedures to ensure the smooth functioning of all organizational activities.
∎ Oversee the procurement, logistics, and supply chain management processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
∎ Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
∎ Compliance and Quality Assurance:
∎ Ensure compliance with donor regulations, organizational policies, and legal requirements in all operational activities.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of operational processes and systems, implementing improvements as necessary.

∎ Collaborate closely with program teams, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and integration of operational support.
∎ Build and maintain effective partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
