Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop Business plan and annual strategy in alignment with group’s priority and oversee the process of monthly, quarterly, daily target setting.
∎ Collaborate with top management to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and resources.
∎ Identify new sourcing opportunities, and undertake strategic initiatives to secure new business development with new buyers/suppliers.
∎ Oversee the procurement of all kinds of yarns, fabrics & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for sampling and production.
∎ Maintain strategic relationship with key buyers and suppliers for all merchandising activities, such as order booking, processing, order follow up & and import/export.
∎ Oversee and lead the process of trims & fabric price negotiation and control records of materials as per fabric types, fabric pattern, proper consumption & styles
∎ Identify potential delay causing situations that will lead to challenges regarding On-time delivery, order fulfillment etc. and ensure proactive and preventive measures are taken.
∎ Analyze pre-costing & post costing and evaluate financial result of product to be marketed.
∎ Ensure periodic reporting to the management and address critical internal and external issues through their guidance and directions.
∎ Collaborate with Factory Heads and COO to ensure on time and in full shipment to all the buyers irrespective of revenue size.
∎ Ensure building an efficient workforce by creating a conducive environment where people are motivated, engaged, and respected and where values are practiced.
∎ Ensure succession of key resources, recognize performers and develop people to grow as future leaders.
∎ Ability to deal tier -1 (Printing & Embroideries) factory operation.
∎ A well-reputed knit manufacturing company is looking for a dynamic professional for the position of Head of Sales & Merchandising for Knit (General Manager) where approx. 4500 MP is working in a vertical setup of knit composite factory consisting 2.5 million pcs Garments production capacity and 100 million turnover from knit business. We invite qualified and experienced candidates to apply for this position who have the excellent knowledge in sales & Merchandising operation.
