Educational Requirements:
∎ Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Closely monitor the activities to be performed by the onsite team according to requirements.
∎ Continuously display effective safety leadership to assist in building and maintaining a positive safety culture at the rig site and ensure a safe working environment without harm to persons, the environment or damage to equipment.
∎ Address QHSE issues at the time of their identification and establish appropriate corrective actions.
∎ Ensure compliance with the company HSE policies by all personnel and actively support and participate in time out for safety, induction, and hazard identification programs. Ensure that the rig specific plans are known and followed.
∎ Identifying means to improve efficiency and reduce costs
∎ Initiate and coordinate safety meetings and toolbox talk to ensure a uniform approach to hazard management.
∎ Analyze hazard identification reports, present trends and relevant data to the rig and country management teams.
∎ Co-ordinate and record emergency drills.
∎ Conduct safety tours on a regular basis and monitor the levels of compliance with all safety related procedures, standards, and policies.
∎ Intervene and coach using positive developmental techniques.
∎ Assist the rig management in development and implementation of rig specific emergency plans.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2-3 years of work experience as a HSE Supervisor, preferable to oil and gas field.
∎ Overseas experience will be given preference to the above-mentioned position.
Salary: Negotiable
