Educational Requirements:
∎ Applicants must have a Master's degree in Management / Human Resource Management. Professional degree such as MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management will be given preference.
∎ Candidates with a 3rd Division/Class or a CGPA of less than 2.5 on a scale of 4 and 3 on a scale of 5 at any stage of academic life need not apply.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Position Description: BAIUST solicits applications for the post of Human Resources Officer (HRO) under the Registrar's Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
∎ Assist recruitment & selection process, transition and separation cases, disciplinary actions/ measures & employee relations, transfer, and separation based on approved standards and procedures.
∎ Take necessary measures to ensure that all employees are familiar with the institutional policies /SOP and they are updated on any changes in a timely and appropriate manner and ensure induction training to new staff and acquaint them with organizational policies and procedures.
∎ Must have ability to verify information of the CV and analytical in term of data consistency.
∎ Assist to prepare/ develop / update Organogram for different departments / units.
∎ To leverage on HR communication as a tool to increase employee and organizational branding for talent attraction.
∎ Schedule and monitor the annual evaluation process/ ACR of all employee, and assist authority in completing the appraisal process of respective employee;
∎ Systematically assess employee development needs, share findings with the Authority, and assist management to address those needs.
∎ Preserve and update personnel files and maintain confidentiality as appropriate;
∎ Formulate & maintain HRIS system including attendance, leave, absence, etc and that adequate back up of the data is preserved.
∎ Serve as a catalyst between management and employee by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping to resolve work-related issues/ problems/relevant grievance management.
∎ Assist to prepare/ develop JD with appropriate KPI for different positions.
∎ Maintain liaison with different departments on HR issues.
∎ Expand the training and development programs based on both the organization's and the individual's needs.
∎ Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Applicants must have at least 3 years of work experience in the relevant field, of which at least 2 years as a Human Resource Officer in a renowned national/international organization.
∎ Specialized training in the relevant fields of HR management will be an added advantage;
∎ An ideal candidate should have leadership, supervision, communication and staff management capacity. Integrity, team building and attachment of high value to professionalism are some of the attributes expected in the candidate.
