Job Context:
∎ Maintaining Access to WASH, Shelter, Energy and Self-Reliance services for the Rohingyas in Bangladesh Project.
∎ To work closely with the management for Information Management and reportingto ensuring the better information management services and overall reporting services of the Shelter and Site Development projects in Cox’s Bazar.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2022.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement and regularly update the Information Management Strategy and the Disseminate all information management related products to the management and relevant sectors,
∎ Developing and updating Open Data Kits (ODK) forms to ensure high quality data collection.
∎ Providing practical training for data enumerators and supervisors.
∎ Develop organizational capacity for multimedia and information alerting usage.
∎ Collect and disseminate all kind of information management related products produced by relevant cluster, UN agencies and other agency,
∎ Design necessary data collection forms, ensuring that the purpose and use of data collected is clear and that questions are simple, clear and collectable,
∎ Based on the data collection, conduct needs and gap identification for the relevant sector,
∎ Develop an information-sharing platform as a web-portal,
∎ Perform advisory and technical assignments in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS),
∎ Organize and maintain GIS data of all Shelter and Site development facilities in accordance with the relevant data management protocols.
∎ Update 4W matrix and other relevant reporting platforms of sector with collect information and data from field,
∎ Identify appropriate secondary data and information resources,
∎ Draft and manage the information management strategy of NGO Forum
∎ Flows of information and discovery of data/information,
∎ Identify and address information management gaps, and facilitate information sharing between field and project offices including through the organizational web portal,
∎ Regular prepare and update the maps of project facilities and any other useful facilities connected to the Shelter and site development and relevant sectors.
∎ Provide emergency response information support to the management,
∎ Work closely with the project management to ensure consistency and accuracy of the information collected from field,
∎ Participate in Cluster and inter-cluster meetings representing the deploying organization, and provide the necessary support in presenting the relevant data and information,
∎ Regular field visit and data collection from different purposes.
∎ Ensure monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly progress report preparation in a timely manner,
∎ Produce case studies, best practices, field experiences, newsletter, e-bulletins and other advocacy materials.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 45 years

∎ Relevant professional experience working with information management,
∎ Experience using data for reporting purposes.
∎ Experience in use of tablets & smartphones and associated software.
∎ Good report writing and problem solving skills.
∎ Excellent computer skills.
∎ Able to oversee multiple tasks, prioritising and delegating as required.
∎ Able to communicate in local language (Cox’s Bazar, Burmees)
∎ Knowledge of different data collection methodologies.
∎ Proven skills to analyses statistical information.
∎ Ability to formulate IM-related technical requirements and Operating Procedures.
∎ Gender sensitive,
∎ Fluent in English and local language,
∎ Positive attitude as development worker, team worker and accommodative within team at community level along with development partners,
∎ Willingness to work in Refugee Camps,
∎ Willingness to work under pressure during emergency response
Salary: Tk. 85657 (Monthly)
