Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science, Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science
∎ Skills Required: Administration, Communication, Computer skill
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop plans and procedures reducing occupational health risks.
∎ Implement policies to support employee health and safety
∎ Follow regulatory reporting requirements.
∎ Accumulate data and prepare reports on health, industrial hygiene, and medical and safety.
∎ Educate, motivate and train line supervision and production personnel for practicing good housekeeping, safe work procedures, etc.
∎ Manage the plant personal protective equipment, work clothing and safety equipment programs according to company standards and operating budget.
∎ Monitor, analyze and record performance of the plant exhaust and make-up air ventilation systems.
∎ Plan, direct, and manage the company industrial hygiene program.
∎ Recommend measures to help protect workers from potential hazards.
∎ Conduct safety compliance training and audits according to the calendar.
∎ Inspect or evaluate workplace environments to ensure compliance with safety standards
∎ Investigate accidents to identify causes and determine how such accidents might be prevented in the future
Additional Requirements:
∎ Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
∎ Administering hazardous and emergency response.
