Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise and manage all parcel handling activities including receiving, sorting, packing, and dispatching.
∎ Coordinate with logistics partners, couriers, and internal departments to ensure timely parcel deliveries.
∎ Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of incoming and outgoing parcels.
∎ Implement and monitor procedures for parcel safety, security, and accuracy.
∎ Allocate tasks and supervise parcel department staff to ensure productivity and performance.
∎ Resolve any delivery-related issues or customer complaints in a timely manner.
∎ Maintain inventory of packaging materials and supplies.
∎ Monitor and control departmental KPIs such as delivery timelines, error rates, and customer satisfaction.
∎ Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
∎ Generate and submit daily/weekly/monthly operational reports to higher management.
