∎ Good command of the Japanese language, demonstrated in Japanese-Language Proficiency Test Certificate of Result and Scores (N4 and/or above)
∎ Candidates having previous teaching experience and experience in technological integration into language teaching will be given preference
∎ Open to Bangladeshi nationals and international applicants
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills in the Japanese and English languages
∎ Ability to work with the ICT integration process for developing online and ‘face-to-face’ courses
∎ Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues and students

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Developing Japanese Language module/s both for ‘face to face’ and online classes (JLPT-5 and JLPT-4)
∎ Facilitating training sessions in Dhaka/outside Dhaka
∎ Recording Audio-Video materials, and developing training plans, budgets, ICT integration, and assisting with participants’ enrollment
∎ Arranging different socio-cultural events for students, teachers, and other stakeholders to promote as well as market the Japanese language and culture programme at BIL, BRAC University
∎ Maintaining liaison with both public and private institutions both at home and abroad and embassies, to promote the Japanese language and culture programme at BIL, BRAC University

∎ Position Type: Full-time/Part-time
∎ Hours of Work: As per contract.
∎ Job Location: Primarily Dhaka, with potential assignments and travel to locations outside Dhaka, as and when required.
