Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Nursing degree with MPH (Candidates with an MPH degree will get preference)
∎ Technical competency focusing on skilled birth attendance, Newborn, Child Health and Family Planning

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Serve as Instructor/Jr. Instructor with academic responsibilities consistent with the mission and philosophy of the Diploma in Midwifery Education.
∎ Teach and examine students in the areas of knowledge implied by the lecturer’s qualifications and experience
∎ Devise and deliver courses (technical and theoretical) of study as determined by the govt.’s course curriculum.
∎ Facilitate the quality improvement of the educational and evaluation processes maintaining the educational standards and monitoring their sustenance. Perform all assigned duties during govt. exams of the students.
∎ Plan, Coordinate and monitor academic, clinical and field works under the guidance of the Senior Assistant Director and in coordination with other faculty members
∎ Assess clinical education needs and initiate/arrange classroom facilities, laboratory facilities (off-campus if needed) and clinical works in collaboration with government, NGO and private hospitals.
∎ Ensure safety practices of the students within the classroom, laboratory and at clinical sites
∎ Evaluate students’ performance in cooperation with other faculty to assess and improve learning. And maintain accurate records of grades, attendance and other extra-curricular activities
∎ Counsel and assist students in scheduling and registration for successful completion of course degree.
∎ Assist and attend students with clinical practice among shifts.
∎ Additional Responsibilities:
∎ Discharge reasonable responsibilities with regards to the supervision of staff, and the operational management of courses in compliance with Senior Assistant Director
∎ Contribute to the maintenance of good working relationship with the staffs and / or other agencies through liaison and participation in working groups when appropriate
∎ Take responsibilities for administrative duties in areas such as admissions, assessment of student progress and achievement, student retention and attendance
∎ Participate in activities as required through membership of committees, working groups and other reasonable activities
∎ Counsel students on academic and technical requirement for the career progression
∎ Prompt and punctual in reporting of work, in meeting office requirements and in keeping office hour
∎ Be able to work for additional hours even in weekends if needed

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 2-3 years of experience working with educational or clinical training programmes.
∎ Demonstrates good facilitation and coaching skills
∎ Should have sound knowledge in computer literacy. Can able to work individually in MS Word, Excel, Power point and Internet
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Bangla
∎ Proficiency in written technical and programmatic reports
∎ Ability to work within a program team and maintain a good working environment

Salary: Tk. 25000 - 40000 (Monthly)
