Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 years’ experience in a power plant or similar industry. (Turbine and Boiler)
∎ Hands on experience in Distributed Control Systems, preferably Emerson Ovation, version 3.6 or higher.
∎ Practical knowledge on PLC programing and troubleshooting preferably Siemens Simatic S7-400, MicroLogix, Allen Bradley RX 5000 etc.
∎ Sound expertise on SCADA system like SAS WinCC and Rockwell Factory talk-view
∎ Should have Experience on Gas turbine and generator control and governing system maintenance and troubleshooting.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on Steam turbine and generator control and governing system maintenance and troubleshooting.
∎ Must Have expertise on different instrument like pressure transmitter, Flow transmitter, level transmitters, Gas detectors, etc. calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting specially from Yokogawa, Fisher-Rosemount, Honeywell etc.
∎ Must Have the ability to perform the calibration and maintenance of Control valves, especially from Yokogawa, Fisher-Rosemount, Honeywell, Flowserve, HORA etc.
∎ Must have experience on Fire detection and extinguishing system preferably Minimax and Honeywell.
∎ Proven knowledge on the maintenance and troubleshooting on Plant utilities like Air compressor, Nitrogen generators, Dryers, and BOP system will be added advantages.
∎ Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings, different control circuit and Macro drawings.
∎ Ability to coordinate activities with Operations and other team members. Computer literacy in MS office is a must. Good Leadership Skills and must be a very good team player. Ability to provide guidance & instruction to subordinates. Ability to give accurate feedback on equipment problems and suggest solutions. Strong understanding of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment management systems and safety rules. Positive learning attitude and High acceptability for job.

∎ Performing work keeping Safety, Reliability & Cost control in mind
∎ Execution of predictive and corrective maintenance activities as per schedule
∎ Ensuring reliability and availability of equipment through strict adherence to vendor recommendations and good engineering practices.
∎ Assist Supervisor in job planning & preparation.
∎ Participate in safety meetings and safety walkabout following schedule.
∎ Ensuring that the contract workforce is working safely, adhering to safe work practices and company rules & regulations.
∎ Sound knowledge on instrument and control system Criticality analysis, HAZOP, and single point failure (SPF) analysis to ensure required level of inventory for minimizing risk.
∎ Prepare and maintain Documents to comply ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 certifications.
∎ Assist Supervisor in spare part planning and procurement.
∎ Performing plant walkabout in terms of safety and equipment health monitoring and giving feedback if any abnormalities found
∎ Participate in Safety Programs and SMART programs organized by other Departments.
∎ Updating Supervisor on job progress and improvement ideas.
∎ Assist Engineers on planning, spares identification and execution.
∎ Maintaining workshop in clean condition and tracking consumable material status.
∎ Bring up EHS concerns to the attention of his direct supervisor or EHS department.
∎ Be vigilant in the work area, identify and report to their supervisors about imminent dangers / hazards / concerns to environment, health and safety.
∎ Always follow the standard operations control procedures to avoid any activity which might lead to EHS incidents / nonconformities.
∎ Follow sound HSSE practices while on duty.
∎ Perform tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor as and when required.
∎ Perform Behavior Based Safety Observation (BBSO) as per compliance requirements.
