∎ Age 25 to 32 years
∎ Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices
∎ Good Knowledge in SQL and Database Administration
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Strong communication and presentation skills
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
∎ Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is preferred
∎ Strong knowledge in ERP or any Enterprise Application
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls: This involves reviewing internal controls, data security measures, and access management procedures to ensure they are adequate and functioning properly.
∎ Identify and assess IT risks: IT auditors analyze potential threats to an organization's IT systems, such as cyberattacks, data breaches, and system failures. They assess the likelihood and impact of these risks to prioritize mitigation efforts.
∎ Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments: IT auditors simulate cyberattacks to identify weaknesses in an organization's IT infrastructure. They also use specialized tools to scan systems for vulnerabilities that could be exploited by attackers.
∎ Develop and implement security recommendations: Based on their findings, IT auditors recommend improvements to an organization's IT security posture. This may include implementing new security controls, updating existing controls, or raising awareness of security risks among employees.
∎ Prepare and present audit reports: IT auditors document their findings and recommendations in comprehensive reports that are presented to management and stakeholders.
∎ Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends: The cybersecurity landscape is constantly evolving, so IT auditors need to stay informed about the latest threats and vulnerabilities to effectively protect their organizations.
