Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure all over welfare activities as per Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2015 & 2022;
∎ Prepared for any kind of compliance audit as per buyer COC & standard;
∎ Arrange routine welfare meetings and Training, such as Orientation, Grievance, OHS, etc;
∎ Ensure grievance management system;
∎ Establish effective both way flow of communication between management and workers and hold consultations with a view to maintain harmonious relations between the management and workers;
∎ Look after the provision of amenities such as dining, adequate wash room facility, drinking water, etc;
∎ Advise and brief workers on the proper use of PPE, machine guard, sanitation, fire safety and others health and safety related issues;
∎ Maintain compliance as per compliance guidelines and company policy;
∎ Conduct awareness training programs on rules and regulations as per Buyer's Code of Conduct & law of the country;
∎ Conduct orientation for new employees;
∎ Organize, TU, SC and Grievance meetings, preparing minutes and circulating;
∎ Take care of workers, special care of pregnant & injured workers;
∎ Counseling and follow up pregnant workers;
∎ Ensuring Maternity benefits as per Labor Law;
∎ Update to management all compliance reports in regular interval etc;
∎ Skills Required: Compliance Welfare activities.
